A Day In The Life of..............

One thing is for sure, no two days in my life are ever the same. There are a number of different aspects to my life: I have a farm in Devon where I keep North and South Devon cattle; I have a brand of sausages, bacon and chicken under The Black Farmer label, and I am the Conservative candidate for Chippenham in Wiltshire.

A typical day for me might go something like this:

I keep my laptop by my bed, so as soon as I wake up I’m on it. I use that time to catch up with emails, check the diary so I know what I’m doing for the day and sort out any urgent phone calls, check out my Facebook pages and write a couple of notes on Twitter. I love technology and so all the new social networking is right up my street! My farm manager will call if there’s a problem, otherwise I know all is well.

Once I’m up, I’m on my way. I won’t stop for breakfast – just a glass of juice and a cup of tea. I know its bad for me but I have never been very good at having a hearty breakfast I find it slows me down, and a good Full English is a treat I afford myself when I am on holiday.
