Internationally acclaimed baker John Foster, and marketing expert Janet Woodward founded Wellfoods Limited in 1999. Janet, a Coeliac, was only too aware of the need for great-tasting bread and its lack of availability.
Combining forces, taking advantage of John's expertise and combining it with Janet's own experiences, they set off in their quest to make delicious, gluten-free breads.
Today, their website, www.wellfoods.co.uk, offer a wide variety of products: from breads, pizza bases, bread rolls, burger-buns and flour. Wellfoods also offer a wealth of practical, down-to-earth advice about gluten intolerance.
They describe their food, tantalisingly, as being 'real food minus the Gluten.' We caught up with them to discover how they did it!
