Allergy Free Fish Fingers - at last!
GFF Direct have launched a fab new product for us allergic types. Apparently available mid-June, their new allergy-free fish fingers provide us with a welcome alternative to other brands.

Gluten free fish fingers from the big supermarkets have not been too impressive so far - we're hoping these will be an improvement. Here is a description of ingredients and advice:

Gluten free bakery creates many new job opportunities

A Wrexham bakery is set to create 25 new jobs as it launches a brand new range of gluten free products.

The Village Bakery is working together with Switzerland’s Hero Group (specialising in products for those with special dietary needs.) Village Bakery (Nutrition), will be baking their way through four million gluten-free loaves a year.

The bakery will make gluten free bread - the protein contained in wheat, rye and barley which affects coeliac disease sufferers. They will also bake bread made from linseed and oats, for those with wheat intolerance.
